Packaging Tips For Transporting & Shipping Bikes
When sending your bike with Irish Parcels, the item will need to be fully packaged, preferrably in a bike box.
These boxes can be ordered online from the likes of Amazon or purchased from a local cycle shop. Most cycle shops will be happy to dismantle and and package your bike for a small fee.
Bike Transport – Size Restrictions
If you are sending a bike within Ireland or to the UK:
The longest length must not exceed 1.5m
Longest length + 2(breadth + width) = No More Than 300cm
The restrictions to ship outside Ireland and the UK are:
(length x width x height (cm) / 5000) must not equal more than 30.
